Wareez Kolawole Olosho

Food Safety

Wareez Kolawole Ọlọshọ is from Kobomoje, Ibadan, Oyo State, Nigeria. He is a graduate of the University of Ibadan with a background in food safety, food security, and quality assurance/control. He is a farmer, project manager, and the founder of Wary Foods, where he is making indigenous African foods safer, more convenient, and more accessible for everyday consumption, while promoting healthier food choices through Afri-nutritionalism.

Wareez has participated in programmes on African food solutions and African food changemakers. He is passionate about using science and innovation to strengthen Africa’s food system and encourage a return to nutritious indigenous foods. 

He has also served in the Student Representative Council at the University of Ibadan and is a member of Junior Chamber International (JCI) Nigeria. A dedicated entrepreneur, he is committed to continuous learning and creating practical solutions that improve lives.
